Artist Bio
A dark techno artist who blends the experience of a veteran underground club DJ with the relentless energy of modern peak-time techno, Rayne has built a reputation for immersive performances that hit hard and steadily build tension before exploding into powerful, hypnotic dance floor moments.
Background
A regular performer at several legendary New York City venues including EXIT, Tunnel, System, Mission, and NV, while also touring venues across North America, earning a reputation for marathon sets fueled by hard driving beats and infectious energy. His career reached another level during his celebrated two-year residency at Club Deep NYC, where every Saturday night he guided crowds through unforgettable all-night musical journeys. Featured at multiple music festivals and underground warehouse parties, and known for regular after-hours appearances, often going deep into Sunday mornings and at times even deeper into the afternoon. Rayne began producing and showcasing his own original music and remixes during his sets and later founded the record label and production company DRA Productions, which hosted events and record release parties at several Miami Winter Music Conferences. By collaborating with live percussionist DEAL, together they created a unique, immersive, party called LOVE DRUMS - which seamlessly blended modern techno with live percussion, adding another layer of energy and excitement to the dance floor.
Music Production
After being featured on multiple DRA Productions VA releases, Rayne became popular amongst underground techno promo pools. His debut techno EP Toxic, released on Vortex Records in late 2024 produced two Beatport Top 100 releases, including "Addiction," which climbed to #2 on the Beatport Techno Chart. Momentum continued with his follow up EP Frisson on Element Raver Records, featuring "A Drummer", which climbed to #18 on the Beatport Techno Chart. "This Beat Is Dirty," released as a single shortly after, reached the Beatport Techno Top 50. Rayne then signed with Matter & Motion Music and Tuo Records, releasing multiple charting records including The System, which reached the Beatport Techno Top 25 and received widespread underground support.
Today
Now based in Denver, Colorado, Rayne is focused on helping grow the city's underground techno community while continuing to release original music and deliver unforgettable performances. Every set is carefully crafted to take audiences on a journey. His performances combine precision mixing with carefully selected tracks that evolve naturally throughout the night, creating immersive experiences rather than simply playing songs. Influenced by years of underground dance music culture, his sound blends dark hard-hitting grooves, hypnotic rhythms, industrial textures and modern peak-time techno.
